The Manitowoc Ice IDT0450A-161/SPA312 Indigo NXT™ commercial ice machine and dispenser is programmable by hours of operation and volume, enabling customers to tailor it to their establishment’s specific needs. It makes dice ice, a large cube with slow melting properties that is suitable for hotel machines or bagged ice, and the head’s acoustical ice-sensing probe checks the thickness of ice cubes in the head—ensuring cubes are produced at a regular thickness. Helping users manage their machine, the front display gives diagnostic feedback and 24-hour maintenance information.

The Manitowoc Ice IDT0450A-161/SPA312 floor model ice maker and dispenser’s built-in agitator limits ice waste by breaking up ice chunks and dispensing it. While the dispenser is pouring, a rocking chute mechanism controls the amount of ice dispensed to conserve product. Whatever ice does spill is caught by an oversized drain pan, and so it can be cleaned of smudges or dirt stains, the dispenser’s DuraTech™ exterior has a stainless finish.
