In a 24-hour period, the Manitowoc Ice IYT0500W Indigo NXT™ ice maker head can churn out 550 pounds of half-dice ice, making it a great fit for kitchens of small needs. Because the head's condenser is water cooled, setup is extensive and considerable water is required, but the reward is heightened efficiency. An easyTouch® display uses icons to guide users through options, such as troubleshooting diagnostics, programming for daily production, and setting after-hours shutdown times.

The commercial ice machine head's DuraTech® exterior has a clear coat, which defends against fingerprint residue, dirt smudges, and corrosion buildup. An acoustical ice sensing probe monitors the cube thickness to make sure they turn out right every time. To increase convenience, this Manitowoc Ice IYT0500W ice machine head has key components that are removable for cleaning and feature antimicrobial protection.
