When incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit and ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit, the Manitowoc Ice IYT1500N-263 IndigoNXT™ ice machine can produce 1,817 pounds of half-cube ice in 24 hours. Casual eateries, quick-service restaurants, convenience stores, or smoothie bars can use this type of ice in soft drinks or blended beverages. Staff can set this unit's daily ice production volume, night-time operation, and idle periods with the front-mounted icon-based touchscreen easyTouch® display. For reliability, it features an acoustical ice-sensing probe and an active-sense system that consistently harvests ice in various environmental conditions. Its 24-hour preventive maintenance provides diagnostic feedback to minimize operation challenges and extend product life.

The Manitowoc Ice IYT1500N-263 half-cube ice maker measures 48 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 291/2 inches tall, and can be placed atop the separately sold Manitowoc Ice iT1500 D970 ice bin. To reduce noise and heat in the back of house, this unit features a remote-cooled refrigeration system that operates with CFC-free R-410 refrigerant. Its DuraTech® corrosion-resistant stainless steel exterior features a clear coat that conceals fingerprints and dirt for a clean appearance that complements other pieces of equipment. To ease cleaning, the front door panel provides access to the food zone, which includes a removable water trough, distribution tube, curtain, and sensing probes. To inhibit bacterial growth between regular cleanings, some food zone components are treated with AlphaSan® antimicrobial protection.
