Manitowoc Ice LB1448 48" Ice Bin - 1337 lbs

With a 45-cubic-foot interior, the Manitowoc LB1448 upright ice bin boasts a 1,337-pound ice capacity. To reduce the chance of overflowing, it's built with a stainless steel baffle. This 48-inch-wide by 441⁄2-inch-deep by 67-inch-tall piece features corrosion-resistant welded 304 stainless steel front and sides for durability and roto-molded, seamless, and rust-resistant polyethylene interior liner to ease cleaning. To slow ice melting, its walls are insulated with 11⁄2-inch-thick foamed-in-place polyurethane. Operators can adjust the stainless steel legs from 6 inches to 713⁄100 inches to stabilize on sloped or uneven flooring.

Because the Manitowoc LB1448 ice bin features a first-in, first-out design, operators have direct access to fresh ice. Its heavy-duty, spring-load door hinge stabilizes the door in an open position so staff can retrieve ice without bending over and reaching into the unit. To collect ice sanitarily, its included ergonomic scoop features a thumb and knuckle guard. So users don't have to open the door to check ice levels, this unit is built with clear Lexan windows that provide a view of the interior.
