To slow the growth of germs and bacteria, the Manitowoc Ice SDT3000W Quadzilla™ ice machine head's components are protected with AlphaSan® antimicrobial. It operates with R410A refrigerant, making it a good choice for the environment. The condenser is water cooled and self-contained, streamlining installation and making maintenance simple. When a bin or dispenser is installed, the head uses ice harvest technology to guide the ice into the base.

The Manitowoc Ice SDT3000W full-cube ice machine head produces a maximum of 3,000 pounds of ice per day when operating conditions are ideal. In less-than-optimal conditions, it makes closer to 2,558 pounds of ice daily. Its exterior is made of stainless steel, making it durable and resistant to rust and corrosion. This unit produces full-cube dice ice, which is great for use in cocktails and soft drinks.
