The True GDM-23F-HC~TSL01 one-section glass door merchandiser has a left-hinged door that opens from the right. This door is triple paned with thermal-insulated glass that keeps cold air inside. A 12-inch extruded handle ensures that opening the door is comfortable, and the door's self-closing design helps keep cold air inside the cabinet. Magnetic door gaskets keep warm air from leaking in and can be quickly removed for cleaning and replacing. To provide the unit with extra structure, the entire cabinet is insulated with high-density polyurethane. Its black laminated vinyl exterior is sturdy, permanent, and will not chip or peel. Brightened by LED lighting, the white aluminum interior liner helps customers locate items in the cabinet.

The unit's backguard and floor rack create ideal airflow, helping the refrigeration system maintain an even temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit. To keep temperatures this cold, the True GDM-23F-HC~TSL01 one-section glass door merchandiser uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The condenser and evaporator fan motors move a consistent volume of air, which produces minimal heat and reduces energy consumption. The condensing fan motor goes into a reverse mode upon start up for 20 seconds, blowing debris, dirt, and dust off the coil. When this part is regularly cleaned, the system operates efficiently without consuming a lot of energy. It also helps with maintaining consistent product temperatures and prolongs the system's lifespan. Despite its many benefits, this feature doesn’t replace existing recommendations for preventative maintenance. For convenient maintenance, the condensing unit is mounted on the bottom of the cabinet, creating a no-stoop lower shelf.
