The exterior of the True STG1RPT-1G-1S-HC SPEC SERIES® pass-thru refrigerator has a durable stainless steel front with sides that have a matching corrosion-resistant aluminum finish. Since it has a pass-thru design, doors on the front and back are each equipped with metal handles and bolt-style door locks. Its front door features double-pane, thermal-insulated glass to prevent fogging and enable product visibility, while the rear door is constructed of solid stainless steel. This cabinet interior has a stainless steel floor and ceiling with aluminum side walls and back and is insulated with polyurethane that has been foamed in place. The True STG1RPT-1G-1S-HC pass-thru refrigerator has a top-mount refrigeration system, which is difficult for unauthorized users to access, and a self-contained capillary tube system meters R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. An external digital temperature display monitors temperatures that can be set between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and the refrigeration system operates using a digital control.

Made with unique reversing technology, the compressor fan in this unit blows in reverse for 20 seconds when it starts up. This mechanism eliminates debris, dirt, and dust from the condenser coil to reduce energy consumption and maintain cold and consistent storage temperatures. This reversing technology also improves refrigeration system efficiency and lengthens the lifespan of the unit, but it doesn't eliminate requirements for routine preventative maintenance.
