To conserve space in compact kitchens, the True TUC-27F-D-2-HC undercounter freezer measures 27 5⁄8 inches wide by 31 1⁄8 inches deep by 36 inches tall. Because it's fitted with 5-inch-diameter castors, it can be wheeled out of the way for repositioning, cleaning, or maintenance as needed. While its front, top, drawers, and ends are made of rugged stainless steel, the back is comprised of GalFan®-coated steel that provides corrosion-resistant durability. Its two drawers are positioned on heavy-duty stainless steel drawer slides and rollers for smooth opening and closing, and for secure closure, they're built with removable magnetic gaskets. While each drawer can hold one full-size food pan, it can support an array of pan sizes when divider bars are used (sold separately).

The True TUC-27F-D-2-HC commercial undercounter freezer's self-contained freezer system produces and maintains a -10-degree-Fahrenheit drawer temperature to hold frozen foods at a safe level. To minimize temperature fluctuations, the drawers and cabinet are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation. For lasting efficiency, its electronically commutated evaporator and condenser fan motors move a uniform volume of air to enhance motor reliability by reducing heat production and energy usage. Operators can set times and temperatures to initiate and terminate an automatic defrost cycle, eliminating time-consuming removal of ice that could damage products being stored.
