Turbo Air MST-48-12-N Description

For properly storing salad, pizza, and sandwich ingredients, the Turbo Air MST-48-12-N food prep table has a refrigerated base that holds temperatures between 33 and 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Its cold bunker system uses forced air to flow below, in front of, and around the food pan area to establish a cold shield maintaining temperatures lower than 41 degrees Fahrenheit, even when the lid is opened. Staff can adjust temperatures with the digital temperature control, while the external digital display provides a readout of cabinet temperatures so employees can quickly identify temperatures. Its self-contained refrigeration system features a self-cleaning condenser that automatically brushes itself daily to reduce the risk of system failure, and this unit operates with environmentally friendly R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.

The top section enhances accessibility to prepared fruits, vegetables, and meats. The pan area accommodates 12 sixth-size, 4-inch-deep condiment pans, and when the pans aren't in use, an insulated pan cover preserves the temperatures in this section. The 48 1⁄4-inch-wide by 17-inch-deep polyethylene cutting board provides ample space for salad and sandwich preparation, while the refrigerated base is divided into two sections with corresponding swing doors. The LED-lighted interior provides a full view of the two 21-inch-wide by 17-inch-deep adjustable, heavy-duty polyethylene-coated wire shelves, and to minimize the risk of drawing in hot air, the fan control function automatically shuts off the fan when the doors are open.

To prolong its service life, the Turbo Air MST-48-12-N cold prep table's exterior and floor are made of stainless steel, while the interior is aluminum—both metals resist corrosion and wear and are simple to wipe clean. The cabinet and doors are foamed in place with high-density, CFC-free polyurethane to reduce energy loss. To ease transport when the area around the unit needs to be cleaned, this 48 1⁄4-inch-wide by 38 5⁄8-inch-deep by 42 1⁄8-inch-tall table is fitted with 4-inch-diameter swivel casters. Locks on the two front casters ensure stability during operation.
