The Manitowoc Ice IDT0750W-261/SPA312-161 ice maker and dispenser is capable of creating ice, then holding it until it's ready to be used. It makes dice ice, which is relatively large and melts slower than most other types of ice. Each individual piece of ice measures 7/8 of an inch on all sides and is measured by a sensor probe before it's released. Over a 24-hour period, this machine can make as much as 703 pounds of ice. For simple operation, this unit includes an easyTouch® display on the front, which lets users specify operation hours and the daily ice production goal; it also provides diagnostic feedback, cleaning reminders, and maintenance recommendations.

The Manitowoc Ice SPA312-161 ice dispenser's built-in bin holds as much as 180 pounds of ice and features an internal agitator that breaks up the ice, ensuring it's dispensed in its entirety. For filling up ice buckets in addition to glasses, the dispensing area is rather large. Ice falls as users press the container against the lever, and to reduce spills, the rocking chute mechanism deactivates quickly when pressure is removed. To streamline cleaning, users can access the foodzone through the front panel, where several parts can be removed and cleaned separately. It sports a DuraTech™ exterior, which resists corrosion and is simple to wipe clean, while a large drain pan in the dispensing area catches runaway ice.
