An acoustical probe measures ice before it drops into the dispenser, checking for consistent thickness.

The Manitowoc Ice IYT0420A-161/SPA162 ice maker and dispenser is made for hotels and resorts since it accommodates buckets under its chute. This chute prevents ice from spilling out, while the drain pan is oversized to catch more overflow than other pans. With a corrosion-resistant DuraTech exterior, the unit hides smudges.
